Our Wedding Invites

Initially, I wanted to do hot stamping on the card itself but after checking out the prices from the various printing shops, it is not economically wise to do so.. it will be worthwhile if we need more cards cos the printing cost is in bulk like for 100 pcs so if we onli need 50 cards, we will have to pay the same amt for 100 pcs.. bo hua right... so gave up the hot stamping idea..
Wanted to use one of our photoshoot pic as the background of our wedding invites so began looking at the pics one by one again.. reminded me of the editing process, haha.. den B taught me how to use photoshop to insert the words so i played and explored photoshop with our pics.. Finally, decided to use this pic cos the empty space is enough to fit the words.. Many complained that they cannot see my face.. haha! But i jus love the feel and scenery of this pic..
The next question is how shd we print it out?? tot of buying a photo printer to print at home but changed my mind after some calculations and quality issue.. better let the kodak professionals do the job, haha.. anyway, it costs 30cents each which is so much cheaper than hot stamping!

This is the card provided by Furama Riverfront.. the floral design is so elegant..

Gotta DIY a small part cos the 4R photo size can't fit into the card so need to trim abit of the 2 sides.. still need to cut 2 slits on the card itself to slot in the photo.. luckily, it can be done quite easily.. phew!

Not to forget my handmade forever friends ang pow.. haha.. it's a hint that I don't wish to receive any gifts, jus a small token in the ang pow will do.. hope all or most of the guests know what it means.. imagine we gotta carry so many gifts back after the wedding and bring everything to our new house when moving house agn.. if the gifts are fragile items, it will be worse if we break them during the moving process.. Cash is the most practical gift for all couples!

Last step is to slot into the envelope, ready to be given out! Still in the process of giving them out..
