BB Graduated!

 

Yay! Finally!

 

Happy 2nd Wedding Anniversary! Wanted to go back to the restaurant we had lobster last yr but it was closed for reno  -_- in the end bb was so sad with the dinner at centrepoint and the food was exp! bought some baby stuff at robinsons before making our way home.. retail therapy eased bb's mood a little, haa.. Many more anniversariessss to come, muacks!

22 weeks old!

Here's the baby's face! was slightly shocked and scared at the first look as the 3D and coloured image on the screen was slimy and 'out of shape'.. Went to NUH for detailed scan and the scan is really DETAILED, haa! can see the brain structure, heart, stomach, kidneys, rib cage, spine, nostrils, ears, limbs, balls and bird bird.. haha! everything is normal, yay!! hmm.. should start thinking of nice names liao.. 2nd MC taken, more to come :p 

5th Anniversary and Baby Updates

It's our 5th anniversary! went to harry potter exhibition at mbs and took a stroll at marina bay gardens after that.. weather was veri nice with a clear blue sky and a lot of tourists.. bb kept complaining about the dead flowers,' haa..

i sat on the reserve seat on the mrt and there's a couple of auntie and uncle satnding in front of me.. throughout the journey keep complaining to each other "nowadays youngsters ah, dun give up their seats.... blah blah blah.." den the auntie sacarstically told her husband nvm lah, maybe i look younger than them... den when i close my eyes to rest, the auntie purposely on her hp music loudly and cough loudly, trying to disturb me.. so irritating!!! cannot stand all these aunties and uncles! fit enough to be the first to rush into the train and still expect ppl to give up their seats to them, fat hope!! i'm not gg to do that!! bb moved in to the centre of the carriage liao if not think he will blast at them.... what is wrong with all these aunties and uncles seriously.......  

Almost 4 mths now.. Baby has grown so much.. blood tests results are normal and low risk for down's syndrome, yeah!! but my back is starting to ache.. still having nausea and vomitting once a while.. haiz.. gender more or less confirmed to be a boy.. can see the 'bird' during the scan, so cute so small, hahaha.. our spare room is painted pink and bb say can paint it blue but mama say no painting and nailing in the house.. it's ok, i like it pink! still maintaining my zero MC award, *clap clap clap*

Few days back, walked to jp with sam and zj after sch den sam said can see my tummy liao.. den i make my dress flat on my tummy and she was so shocked "that's so cuuuuuttteee!!" so funny la.. but ytd, one of my red cross cadets still ask if i'm married, omg.. almost 4 mths liao still asking this question.. faints.. let her see my tummy one day she will be even more shocked.. haha!



3 months old!

Went for the Down's Syndrome tests at NUH.. first part of the test is the scan to measure some lengths and dunno what calculations.. this requires the baby to lie flat facing up as shown in the pic.. but baby wasn't cooperating at first.. all sorts of funny positions, just refuse to lie down! no choice, gotta do blood test first den wait for second scan.. After much effort to make the baby move, finally got the right position! phew! based on scan report, everything seems normal, just that the measurements is closer to the upper limit of the normal range.. still waiting for the blood test results before we can confirm that baby is normal..

previously still saying lucky i nv experience morning sickness, said it too soon... and it should be called 'all-day-sickness' instead.. always feel nausea nowadays and even vomitted once in school.. so serious that i have to eat sour plum while teaching..

i feel so proud of myself for gg thru 2 weeks of school without taking mc.. maybe will be getting one soon, haha..       

Second Gynae Visit

xiao wang has grown so much! this scan is taken at 10 wks and 6 days old.. can see the head liao! xiao wang was swimming around actively and i was very very surprised and amazed to see him/her moving, haha.. didn't expect to be able see any movement at such an early stage..

while waiting to see doc, saw another pregnant lady vomitting, so xin ku.. grateful that i didn't vomit so far.. sch gg to start soon, xiao wang mus continue to be guai guai ah.. oh, gg for the down's syndrome tests soon, abit scared and worried.. don't dare to think of the results and consequences now.. hope everything is fine!

First Gynae Visit

Spent some time to read up the forums to find a gd gynae.. wanted to deliver at Gleneagles so limit my search to Gleneagles doctors only.. finally decided on a gynae that has a clinic at boon lay mrt so my check-ups would be more convenient.. met him for the first time and find him quite friendly and humourous.. here's the first scan of xiao wang.. the 2 tiny white crosses is the location of xiao wang and is only 0.37cm long at 6 wks.. the black bean like structure is the water bag and the surrounding is the womb.. 

 Looking forward to the next visit to see xiao wang grow bigger and healthily.. Expected delivery date is on 16 Jan 2013 so most likely won't be able to attend sis's wedding, aiyaya! so sad! and cannot wear the heels that i bought previously!

One of the meals cooked to satisfy my craving.. starting to feel the symptoms of pregnancy like getting tired and sleepy, lack of appetite though i feel hungry, and cravingss for certain food.. now den i realise mothers are really very noble! i mus jia you!

小王 OTW

Yes, i'm gg to become a big fat woman! asked b to check the sign against the instruction manual and he said smiling "is that my 小王??" hopefully this brand is reliable ah..

not sure how to describe my feelings now.. maybe 20% excited to have our first baby, 20% calm as cannot feel the baby and morning sickness yet, 20% worried that my child would end up like some of the notorious students that i'm teaching cos my baby would be so used to 'hearing' them in the coming 9mths or so, 20% of doubt not sure if I can handle both work and baby, 20% scared of the delivery pain.. complicated ya.. told b i wish can pass him the baby to deliver so i won't feel the pain den he say will buy me a diamond ring for the baby, haa!

something 丢脸 to share.. haha.. this pregnancy test kit is the 2nd try actually.. i wasted the first pack cos i nv read instructions carefully den got no results as in no line appear at all, now i can totally understand why students nv bother to read exam questions carefully and giv me rubbish answers.. i bought a spare kit in case it fails again so whoever needs it can get it from me.. hope 小王 won't be as blur as me!

not sure if still can make it for the dragon baby.. it'll be an added bonus for b if it is a dragon baby cos he scared of snake, haaha.. but that's not impt, i just want a healthy baby!

Time to look for gynae and break the news to our loved ones!
