Yeah, we ordered our wedding bands le! Went to Soo Kee and Love n Co but couldn't find a pair that both of us like.. i quite like one design from Love n Co but B dun like his.. So, we continue shopping around..
i've read from Singaporebrides forum that there is this shop named eClarity has many nice designs and gd service so we decided to drop by to take a look.. It's located at Shaw Centre.. We did not make appointment as it was a last min decision to go see see.. when we reached, the door was closed and the lady was attending to 2 guys.. We took the namecard at the door den went to isetan walk walk while i call to make appointment after the 2 guys.. haha.. so we went back after like 30mins agn..
At first, i was quite disappointed bcos the shop is abit messy and disorganised as compared to other jewellery shops.. Customers' orders were packed and placed on the table, some in the showcase.. Think positively, they have gd business.. haha.. the jewellery in the showcase like outdated already and some showcase were empty! From wat i understand from the forum, there is only a lady, Amanda, in charge of the shop.. She had 2 assistants but they like really doing other small tasks onli.. Amanda served us throughout.. no wonder mus make appointment...
We were seated while Amanda went to take the wedding bands for us.. She came back with alot alot of trays and we were overwhelmed by all the different designs.. She will let us choose the designs tat we want to try and keep the rest.. We picked like 20plus pairs i tink, forgot to count.. haha.. den she will leave us alone to fight it out.. we began playing with the rings cos some rings can be turned, disconnected, etc.. so interesting!
After a long time, we were left with the top 3 designs tat we like..
I love this pair at first sight but B dun like.. He feels tat his ring is abit plain and the design is wierd.. Actually, it's nice mah especially the diamonds!!
This second pair is not bad oso, veri princess look.. B loves the female ring alot but same thing he dun like the male one.. haha.. he veri picky de hor.. another thing, he likes yellow gold and i prefer rose gold.. soooo.. veri mafan rite..
Finally... We settled on this desgin.. I love all the 3 designs cos got alot bling bling diamonds. haha.. so depends on B like which one.. he chose this in the end.. and let me hav rose gold, yea.. made some extra customisation to the rings, esp mine.. first, we changed the white gold part to matte, rose gold part remain as glossy.. Amanda told us matte or glossy is onli the finishing, we can change it anytime we like.. maybe change it back to glossy the following yr on our wedding anniversary ba.. haha.. Den for my ring, i increased the broadness to 5mm thick. initially onli like 3mm veri thin can't see the diamonds one.. increase broadness means diamond size mus increase oso, hahaha.. at first i asked Amanda if can add another row of diamond on the white gold part.. she was stunned and said i'm the first customer to request it.. haha.. tot diamond size remain den add another row more bling mah.. but in the end i chose to increase diamond size onli..
When Amanda asked when is our wedding date, i replied 10 Oct den she was stunned agn.. B quickly said it's next Oct not tis yr den she said '吓到我，我以为是今年'.. cos it takes abt 2 mths before the rings are ready.. hope they turn out nice!! Engraving service is available too.. Finally, we decided to engrave this blog title on our wedding bands! B's one will hav 'Together' and mine 'Forever'.. May we be together forever!!
Bak kut teh gotta hav 'teh' rite.. so brew tea to go with it.. But we din drink much.. haha..
