We really went to Maldives!

Booked the trip last minute, keke.. have been thinking of gg for a long time actually but no action taken.. fortunately, we went!!


we were compensated with a lunch buffet for late check-in on our arrival day.. tat saves us at least 100usd!! food is not cheap there.. another minus pt: ATs. i shall onli mention the positive side of our trip from now on!!


this private dinner set-up on the beach is for couples who took the resort's honeymoon package which is alot more exp and the date mus be within 6 mths of marriage so even if we hav the money oso no use.. haa.. it's jus so amazing for them to come up with the idea to dig holes in the sand to form the steps, table and the 2 chairs..

Weather wasn't nice on the first 2 days, had a few showers throughout the day and sunset cruise had to be cancelled bcos of bad weather.. we had to keep on reserving for sunset cruise until weather turns gd, finally! they use this traditional sail boat for the sunset cruise, so cool!

Got a korean couple on board with us and this is taken by the korean guy.. everytime i see those korean ladies, i can't help but stare at their nose to see if they had done plastic surgery, think i'm being rude to stare but cos sometimes i couldn't tell at first sight so gotta stare abit longer at diff angles, keke..

kayak-ed around the island in 50mins.. went near the water villas area and saw some couples in their private sun decks/pool, so sorry to disturb u all :p

笨鸟.. haha.. cos always follow the baby sharks which will direct where the small fishes go and sometimes they will jump above the water but 笨鸟will miss to catch the small fishes.. we do see it succeed a few times thou so not so 笨 afterall.. haa..

these 2 gigantic stingrays always hang around at our water villa and we were discussing how many ppl each can feed.. missing the sambal stingray back home, haa!

our last meal at the teppanyaki and sushi restaurant.. nice chefs and yummy food!!

this is so far the most relaxing trip.. perhaps reserving the restaurants for dinner and looking at plastic bottles floating on water that couldn't be reached are the most stressful part, haha! hope to visit other islands in maldives soon, before they are gone!

My 26th Birthday!

Had a gathering at ah ma's house on 13th nov to celebrate 3aunt, heni, ah hee kor kor and my birthday together.. thanks sis and kel for the self-designed icing room cake, didn't get to eat the distinctive strawberry thou.. must be eaten by jia rong!! machiam his birthday ah, haha..

Dinner prepared by B.. steamed minced pork with chilli, egg with dark soy sauce and curry chicken (yeo's canned food, keke)

and sparkling ice wine! slight sweet and smooth taste, good! can buy more when we come back from maldives!

19th nov was spent with sis and future brother in law most of the time.. went for blood test in the morning, quick bite and stayed in the bridal shop for 3 hr plus.. after tat, we went to dempsey for another meal.. came home rest a while and went to boon lay market for sambal bbq squid and stingray with B.. the squid is veri nice, my fav sotong!!

not to forget all the well wishes received from students, friends and family members on fb, whatsapp and sms.. love all of u!!

Bali Trip: 5 Nov -7 Nov 2011

Here goes our 3 day 2 night atas life in bali.. haa.. It was a rest and relax trip with no agenda or itinerary.. except for some spa centres research the day before, keke.. besides spa, we had staff coming into the villa to make breakfast and bbq dinner for us.. really atas hor!

oh, i mus say atas ppl get hurt easily.. the guys played with the motorbikes and caused a casualty.. hope he's healed by now! another one fell sick due to wall's ice cream.. last one hurt his toe and had 7 days hospitalisation leave.. quite terrible ah..

Villa Kebun in Seminyak.. 3 bedrooms just nice for 3 couples.. All rooms with outdoor bathrooms that come with mosquitoes, lizard, toad and worm.. got 2 cows over the wall of our bathroom so can hear the moo moo sound.. really close to the nature.. fortunately the villa was clean, thumbs up!

Our 1st Anniversary!!

Went to somerset meet B.. and one of my heels broke!! so went to centrepoint robinson to buy a new pair of shoes since we have 25% discount voucher.. after shopping, went to orchard central for dinner since B has nv been there before..

Had dinner at Victoria Peak Restaurant.. canto cuisine from HK..

we ordered lobster set! yum yum!

enjoying the double boiled soup.. got lots of ingredients inside like chicken feet, pork ribs, fish, red dates and other chineses herbs.. the soup is so nice!

the steamed sliced fish with chilli is very fresh and smooth but serving is abit pathetic ah.. 3 slices each only.. and there's alot of chilli seeds.. troublesome to remove all..

here comes the lobster! so juicy and Q! the gravy on top has got garlic and abit of ginger fragrance, goes very well with the lobster.. love it!

barbeque combination.. but without roast pork, haa.. onli char siew and roast chicken.. the char siew is superb! so sweet so tender... roast chicken is amazing too.. even the chicken breast is so tender like the thigh part.. wah and the sauce is soooo nice too..

the yangzhou fried rice looks simple but taste so great! slight burnt fragrance, not too oily.. fresh prawns.. better than DTF fried rice.. so nice that B didn't even pick out the spring onions, haa!

Fruits platter.. rockmelon is so crunchy and sweet! watermelon got many seeds though sweet as well..

next yr we shall be back for abalone!!!

Family Batam Trip!

So we went to the mega mall for A&W and supermarket.. boring..

2nd day: Woke up early go walk walk.. played banana boat with sis and kel ! so fun and laughed a lot at... *keke* we are bad but really funny la *oops*

Saw a komodo dragon! so scary! my dad got a bigger and clearer pic cos he not scared stand so near to take pic.. haa...

went to explore another resort.. nice spot for pic taking.. mum's attire matches the surrounding perfectly, haha!
