Our Second Taiwan Trip!

This is a mainly photo-taking trip so not much shopping done.. We had fun playing with B's tripod though heavy to bring out but it's worth it! but veri cold while waiting for him to set up and focus.. haha.. some of the pics dunno y focus is on the background so our faces blur blur de :( wasted.. tink camera too cold, can't tahan liao.. haha..

Our 1st phototaking stop is in front of The Regent Hotel.. the X'mas deco outside is really beautiful.. the flowers on the cages are real! colors so nice and romantic.. so dreamy.. lucky we passed by there..

Lover's Bridge is quite bo liao and ulu.... tink the time we spent there is less than the bus ride! haha.. cos it's really too cold there.. but we were well-trained to smile and take pics in cold weather.. haha!

Went to Wulai too.. it's a nice place for phototaking! the mini railway train ride is quite fun and there is oso a veri steep cable car that brings u to the top (show student pass got discounted price, lucky i brought!).. and it's cold up there.. basically, that few days when we were there, it was their coldest winter ever..

Finally got the chance to go to Miramar Ferris Wheel.. Tat time watched 换换爱 always show this place, hoped tat can go there one day and it came true! so unbelievable! same as the experience at Lover's Bridge.. we were there less than the time we spent on bus.. we were opposite the shuttle bus station taking pics then when the bus arrives, we jus grabbed our bags, camera and tripod to catch the bus.. super efficient! cos can't tahan the cold already, keke..

Preview of Our Taiwan Photoshoot

We are back from our photoshoot trip! This is gonna be a long post with many many pics.. haha.. B forbade mi to post the actual photoshoot pics so i can only show u guys these self-taken pics as a preview :) he wants it to be a surprise next yr during our wedding so pls be patient!!

We were quite unlucky actually.. the day before we left, i checked that the weather in Taipei is abt 16°C but the next day we reached, it dropped to 12°C!Touched down at 6.30pm, reached hotel abt 8pm.. checked in, dropped our luggages and off we go to Romantic Life..


Josh (in the above pic) is our coordinator from Romantic Life.. He served us hot water immediately when we reached.. As B onli wore a polo tee, Josh was quite shocked and worried abt him catching a cold.. haha..


Made our way to another shop to select B's suits.. The salesgirl dun allow mi to take pics of B so not much pics taken there.. Too bad, can't see handsome B in his tuxedo.. Went back to Romantic Life after tat.. Josh bought 'cong you bing' and warm bubble milk tea for us to eat and drink while we discussed the route for outdoor shooting.. after tat, it's my turn to choose gowns!! so excited to try on the gowns!!


Yanzi (in the above pic) helped mi with the gowns.. some of the gowns are veri heavy! not an easy job for her but she still took out many for mi to try.. so nice of her..


So many beautiful gowns and i can onli choose 4!! So difficult to make up my mind..

Can guess which 4 i chose? haha.. By the time we finished choosing the gowns, it was already 11.45pm.. it was still drizzling and Josh lent us umbrella.. Went to 'Shuang Cheng' Food Street to have supper before heading back to the hotel.. ZzZ...

The night before photoshoot.. bought some masks in the afternoon and used it.. hehe..


Woke up at 6am, had a quick breakfast in hotel restaurant and reached Romantic Life at 7am for make-up.. I look so auntie!


Still veri auntie.. Not done yet..


Almost done! Our make-up artist is Xiao Mei.. she is actually working part-time at TV station in Taipei, veri professional!


B's turn finally! Xiao Mei praised B for his thick eyebrow and he become 'hao lian'.. haha..


On the way to our 1st destination.. i looked as if my neck is broken.. haha.. gotta put on the cushion to 'protect' my hair..


This mobile tent is veri impt as we need it to change for our outdoor shots..


Changing to 2nd hairdo.. They wrapped mi up the moment i sat down but i'm still freezing!


Done! Waiting to have lunch den proceed to the next location..


Went back to the studio for night shots as we can't tahan the cold anymore! This is the 3rd hairdo.. B din manage to take pics of Xiao Mei doing my 3rd hairstyle cos we were in the female toilet :P This pink gown is the 4th and last gown.. Xiao Mei gg to style my last hairdo..

Xiao Mei is 34 years old already! i tot she's abt the same age as us wor.. look so young rite..


Took some group fotos with the crew..Beside B is Ah Chang who is the photographer assistant.. He is humorous and thoughtful.. always 1st to cover mi with jacket in between shots.. Beside mi is Ah Kuan, our photographer.. He's veri professional but not arrogant at all! funny and humorous as well..

Went to 'Shuang Cheng' Food Street agn to have dinner.. before we sat down, there was an earthquake.. the fruit stall auntie was peeling apple during the earthquake and she actually fell sideways.. scary!!! After eating the warm porridge, time to head back to hotel.. had a hard time washing my hair.. lucky i remembered to buy conditioner the day before.. Fell dead on the bed.. ZZZZZZZZZZZ

Taiwan, We Are Coming!

We are all prepared to go taiwan tml!! Wonder how the photoshoot will turn out to be.. now is more of worried than excited.. maybe tml will be more excited when i see the beautiful gowns.. haha.. hope the pics will be nice.. pimples dun pop out pls!

our luggages.. both 25 inch.. mine is like 90% full liao.. mus control shopping.. haha.. tink B wun mind if i squeeze some stuff in his :P

Sis recommended this shop called NailsTalk near Redhill MRT.. Took half day off to do mani n pedi.. B oso no need to work so he accompanied mi there and paid for mi, hahaha.. $50 for classic french mani n pedi, considered cheap?? it's my 1st time gg to a shop for mani n pedi.. usually will apply myself at home when i'm in the mood.. anyway, NailsTalk staff quite gd, wun force u buy their package de.. they jus quietly do my nails while i watched TV.. but tink their french mani n pedi not veri nice leh.. one of my finger the white part got a tiny bubble and my big toe the white part too thick, seems abit chor lor.. for photoshoot still ok, not so obvious.. next yr go another shop do..

Our Justice of Peace

it's exactly 10 mths to our ROM date.. usually 3-4 mths before den start looking for JP but 10.10.10 is such a hot date so gotta be more kiasu.. i intend to start looking for one after our taiwan trip de..

i got to know this gal from the singaporebrides forum who is oso holding her ROM at Furama Riverfront but in another function room.. hers is lunch, ours hi-tea.. so we tot of inviting the same JP as it would be more convenient.. ytd, tis gal went to email a JP and he actually agreed although the date is 10 mths away.. so she gave mi his contacts and ask mi email him oso which i did and he agreed..

A small intro to our JP, Mr Chia Ti Yu.. did some research on him and found out tat he had a close brush with death 12 yrs back.. tat time he was supposed to go indonesia for a job assignment but bcos he had some buddhist voluntary responsiblities, he did not go indonesia.. on the day he was supposed to fly back, the plane actually crashed into a river, causing all 104 passengers on board to die.. he felt lucky to be living so after the incident, he gave his time to more voluntary works, one of them is to solemnise marriages for couples..

Mr Chia is very prompt in his reply.. emailed him last night and he called mi tis morning to confirm everything.. oso sent an email with different vows and guidelines to file our marriage online.. he's really a nice guy.. glad tat he agreed to solemnise our marriage.. looking forward to meeting him to sign the consent form!

Our Wedding Bands

We've collected our wedding bands on my birthday.. Went orchard with my sis and mama in the afternoon while waiting for B to finish his last paper.. i remember tat day rained heavily and there was floods in many places.. haha.. Mama and sis went to collect our wedding bands together and sis took photos while we were trying on the rings.. Thank u!

B luffing at mi?? tink cos i turned the ring the other way round to try but realised they r the same no matter which direction.. diu lian!

Difficult to take close up shots cos too bling le.. haha.. my cam not so powerful too...

Finally, tied to my ring bearer bowl!! Had problem making the rings 'stand' like when tying to the pillow.. will try harder next year.. haha.. tot of bringing them to taiwan for photoshoot but better not in case we lose them.. so let them grow dust for another 10mths and 14 days..

I love Nov!

Got my birthday present le! haha.. from B of course.. It's a limited edition digital photo frame with Swarovski elements.. bling bling.. haha.. haven upload photos to test it yet.. saw on display in Sony shop tat it can actually be set on slideshow mode to view the pics.. so maybe we can upload our pics and use it for our ROM next yr.. after tat can treat as a calendar or clock for our new house.. so useful ar.. haha.. trying to convince myself tat the money is well spent..
