Our 2nd Anniversary Celebration

Woohoo! 2 yrs already.. started officially on 22 July 2007.. how nice would it be if it is 07.07.07 to match our ROM date 10.10.10.. we did meet on 07.07.07 to watch harry potter and B said he planned to pop the question but in the end we were rushing to catch the show so the mood wasn't right.. too bad.. haha..

Tis yr 22 July falls on Wednesday so we had a mini celebration at my house.. i bought kaya cake from Bengawan Solo cos B always says it looks nice.. bought their pandan cake for his bday less than a mth ago.. these cakes may sound wierd but we enjoyed them alot.. cheap n yummy!

B suggested gg Sentosa on Saturday as a post celebration so we went to Underwater World, Dolphin Lagoon, took the Skyride and Luge, and watched Songs of the Sea.. A fun-filled day out!

We paid $15 to go into the water to touch the pink dolphin and take pic together.. $15 jus walk in, bend down touch the dolphin smile den leave liao.. before i leave touched the dolphin one more time.. haha! the dolphin so cute and guai.. See the dolphins say 'hi' towards the end of the video.. cute cute!!

The skyride is actually quite scary to mi esp when it stopped and the chair swing in mid-air.. *face green green*.. i actually teared, throw face lar! reminded mi of the horrific sapceshot in genting.. but when sitting on spaceshot i can scream as loud as i wan, tis skyride nobody scream de leh.. cannot scream so i cry lor.. haha.. realised i'm actually afraid of heights :( and i had to giap my birkenstock tightly cos scared it'll drop.. haha.. Luge was quite fun and enjoyable.. a few ah mas and ah gongs were crawling like tortoise, veri worthwhile for them! wonder how they survived the skyride.. tink i shd avoid all these rides in future.. getting old liao.. haha..

While waiting for Songs of the Sea performance to start the crew took 2 pics of us den developed the pics out let us see.. i asked the person 'free one ar?' den he said '$15 a piece'.. gave him back the pic and said ' dun wan'.. haha.. money sucking place! the dolphin pic $15 at least still can go touch touch abit got the experience mah.. tis one jus smile smile onli oso $15.. terrible.. i wanted to ask him 2 for $15 can anot?.. but he busy looking for other ppl in the stack of pics in his hands.. so wasteful hor, we dun buy den jus throw away like tat.. might as well giv us for free..

Manchester United Asian Tour in KL

Time really flies! Jus blogged about our durian feast and genting trip which was a month ago and now i'm here to blog abt the Man Utd match in KL. This trip was pretty rush for B and mi cos we went in the morning and back at night. Matt and FL went a day earlier to catch the training session and we met them directly at the stadium on the actual match day.

When we reached the stadium, the commentator was introducing the teams and the crowd was cheering so loudly.. B became excited and made mi run like a mad woman.. *pant pant* Lucky still managed to see the opening ceremony..

A short video showing Rooney missing a goal.. haha.. final score was 3-2, of course Man Utd won! But din managed to shoot any of the goals.. It was quite funny to see the Malaysians in the audience boo their own players.. Poor malaysian team, so stressful man.. Frankly speaking, Man Utd din play veri well.. But Matt and B were happy jus to catch a glimpse of Michael Owen scoring the last goal..

Our Ring Bearer Bowl

Back to my ROM preparations.. Ordered a ring bearer bowl to hold our wedding bands.. Most ppl use ring pillow but i wanted something special.. the website that i ordered from is http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=7075389 Lucky placed order early, this design is now out of stock! *phew* The sweet little ring bearer bowl arrived a few weeks ago but keep forgetting to post it here.. size is only 3.8inches in diameter, so cute.. After ROM can re-tie the ribbon and hang on the wall of our new house as a form of decoration.. so useful.. ooh, the price is 22USD.. quite reasonable since it is handmade and customised with our names and date..

We went to the zoo last sun.. got the coporate card for free admission, hehe.. remember the last time i visited the zoo was on my bday during uni yr 1 wif ms, sx and chris.. so many changes since then.. now got the boat tour and water splash playground for the kids.. we reached there nearly 11am and it was quite crowded.. at 1st i was worried abt the hot sun but the sky turned out to be dark dark.. means gg to rain soon kind.. haha..

B's colleagues nicknamed him Ostrich cos they say he's skinny and runs veri fast like an ostrich.. so funny!

This is baby goat?? keep standing on two feet to reach for the higher leaves.. below got so much leaves but dun wan to eat..

This big blue-black bird (peacock??) is veri funny.. though alone but keep running in circles as if someone is chasing after it.. haha..

Luckily, we managed to see the white tigers..

There are 3 white tigers but two of them are lazy bums.. onli tis one kept walking around..

Just before the rain..

Elephants eating happily in the rain.. We had no choice but to seat down there and watch them eat and eat until the rain stopped.. Actually, it's quite interesting to see how the elephants cleverly make use of their trunks to feed themselves.. they can tear apart coconuts to eat the flesh! After the short downpour, on the way to grab our lunch....

Last but not least, we saw the Happy Feet! Cutest of all! so many baby penguins standing in a row den when they hear music (the crew testing sound system), all of them stood up straight with their heads high up and start to walk towards the music.. when the music stopped, they walk back to their original positions agn.. haha..

We went to hav our lunch at KFC, the chicken and fries taste so much better than other branches.. chicken bigger, juicier and more tender.. fries are more crispy oso.. after lunch, 2nd round of rain began so we headed home..
